Natural Vegetable-Tanned Leather. A Grade.
One of the specificities of this leather lies in the choice of organic tannins.
In the purest tradition of vegetable tanneries, the tanner mainly uses mimosa, quebracho, and chestnut bark. This product is drum-tanned with a special blend of tannins, to which natural oils and fats are added.
This process gives this product good toughness, tear resistance, and ease of cutting, handling, shaping, and chiseling. Our naturally vegetable-tanned cowhides are perfectly suited for the manufacture of luggage and large or small leather goods.
Hides are between 13 and 16 SQF, perfectly smooth A grade.
