With its round working part of a diameter of 14 mm, it allows to obtain a more pronounced convex thread than that obtained with the threading iron of the F family.

This threading iron consists of two threads: the guide thread and the tracing thread.

Since the guide net is longer than the tracing net, it rests on the edge of the leather and can thus guide the tracing net during the threading.

When used, this net will also smooth the high fibers of the slice.

The appearance of the netting on the leather depends on several factors, such as the tool's temperature, the type of leather, and the speed at which the hot tool passes over the leather. We recommend always testing on scraps of leather to adjust the settings.

Usage recommendations: Regularly check that the heating tool is securely tightened on the handle to prevent oxidation and create an electrical fault between the tool and the handle.

The tips may darken to varying degrees after a few uses. Residues of edge dye or other finishing products may also remain stuck to your tools. You can clean them by applying polishing paste to a piece of leather and rubbing the warm tool (TH2 to 4) on it. For extremely dirty tools, extra-fine steel wool (000) can be used. Be careful not to touch the heating element to avoid damaging it.
