Terms and Conditions of Sale and Use

All prices listed on the Cuirs Desrochers online boutique are in Canadian dollars, and do not include taxes, or shipping and handling fees.


Shipping fees are calculated automatically for delivery to Canadian addresses only.


For wholesale orders shipped outside Canada, please complete the Get a Quote form on Cuirs Desrochers’ contact page. We will provide you with a customized quote, including transportation costs. Customers are responsible for all customs fees and local taxes.


All online orders are shipped from our warehouse in Quebec, via Purolator or Canada Post. Products in stock are normally shipped within 2 to 7 business days. Cuirs Desrochers is not responsible for shipping delays due to weather conditions, volume of deliveries, or weekends and holidays when delivery service is closed. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number from the carrier.

MINIMUM PURCHASE 50$. Orders placed on the Cuirs Desrochers online boutique must be at least 50$ before taxes and shipping fees and must be paid by credit card (Visa or Matercard). Customers with an existing account at Cuirs Desrochers may log in and pay for their purchases via the usual terms on receipt of the electronic invoice. Please contact customer service to activate access to your account.

Raw materials and inventory in stock
In the event that a product you are looking for is out of stock, you can still place your order online. Your order will be processed within 7 business days for production or products, as long as the raw materials are in stock.

Although we pay particular attention to the availability of raw materials, products may be temporarily out of stock due to shipping delays of the leather required for production. In this specific case, a notification of temporary unavailability will be visible at the time of purchase.

Goods are shipped from Monday to Friday (excluding holidays). No shipments are made on statutory holidays, during summer vacation or during the holiday period.

Warranty on our leather goods
Cuirs Desrochers products are recognized for their durability and production quality. All our products are carefully inspected to meet strict quality requirements. If you detect any anomaly, contact our sales team within 10 days of the delivery date for a return or exchange.

Warranty on our leathers and skins
Cuirs Desrochers sells only top-quality leathers and skins from tanneries with which we have long-standing business relationships. Leather is a natural material. Natural markings, such as healed scars, differences in grains, wrinkles, veins, different chromatic shades and other markings, are proof of their natural origin and hallmarks of their value. These marks should not be considered defects of the production process. However, in the event that you are not satisfied with the skin, it may be returned or exchanged under certain conditions. 

Warranty on our hardware and tools
The tools sold at Cuirs Desrochers are covered by warranties that vary according to the manufacturer. These tools may be replaced under certain conditions. Under no circumstances should the tools have been used on a metal anvil or with a metallic matting tool.

Our hardware products are stored so as to prevent tarnishing, scratches and discoloration. If you detect any of these conditions, contact our sales team for a return or exchange.

Return Policy
All returns must be approved by Cuirs Desrochers’ customer service department. The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs. Returns or exchanges are accepted within 10 days of the delivery date. Returned merchandise must be accompanied by a copy of the order confirmation and a description of the defect, if applicable. Credit may be granted for purchases made from Cuirs Desrochers only.

In the event of an error on our part, please contact our sales team. After inspecting the merchandise, a reimbursement, credit or exchange may be issued using the same method of payment as the initial purchase.

Cuirs Desrochers is not responsible for any returned merchandise that is lost or damaged during return shipment. Cuirs Desrochers accepts only pre-paid return packages.

Administrative charges of 20% plus handling fees will apply in the following cases:

  • returns made after 10 days but within 30 days of the delivery date;
  • an ordering error on your part;
  • a product that is free from defects but is not satisfactory.

Products will not be refunded or exchanged after 30 days of the delivery date.
